MEDIUM SAUCEPAN
GLASS LIQUID MEASURING CUP
MEASURING SPOONS
WHISK
POT HOLDER


  

DIRECTIONS:

  1. WASH HANDS.

  2. IN A MEDIUM SAUCEPAN, PUT:

    2 CUPS WATER, MEASURED IN GLASS LIQUID MEASURING CUP
    1 CUP MILK, MEASURED IN GLASS LIQUID MEASURING CUP
    2 TABLESPOONS (TBSP) MARGARINE
    1 TEASPOON (TSP) SALT

  3. TURN HEAT TO MEDIUM-HIGH.

  4. WHEN THE MARGARINE HAS MELTED, TURN OFF HEAT.

  5. ADD 2 CUPS OF INSTANT POTATOES TO THE PAN.

  6. STIR WITH A WHISK UNTIL SMOOTH AND THICK.

  7. IT IS DONE.

2 LARGE SPOONS

PIE PLATE
ROLLING PIN
KNIFE
FORK
CHEESE GRATER
MEASURING CUPS
GLASS LIQUID MEASURING CUP
MEASURING SPOONS
WAXED PAPER
TIMER
POT HOLDERS
CUTTING BOARD


  

DIRECTIONS:

  1. WASH HANDS.

  2. IN LARGE BOWL, PUT:

    1/2 CUP OIL
    1 CUP FLOUR - LEVEL OFF WITH A KNIFE
    1/4 CUP FLOUR - LEVEL OFF
    4 TABLESPOONS (TBSP) ICE WATER
    DASH OF SALT

  3. MIX GENTLY WITH A SPOON TO FORM A BALL.

  4. COVER BOWL WITH PLASTIC WRAP.

  5. PLACE BOWL IN REFRIGERATOR.

  6. IN A DIFFERENT LARGE BOWL, PUT:

    3 EGGS
    1 TABLESPOON (TBSP) FLOUR - LEVEL OFF
    3/4 CUP MILK - MEASURED IN GLASS LIQUID MEASURING CUP
    1 TEASPOON (TSP) SALT - LEVEL OFF
    1 TEASPOON (TSP) PEPPER - LEVEL OFF

  7. WITH A WHISK, BLEND ALL THAT IS IN THE BOWL.

  8. GRATE 1 CUP OF CHEESE AND ADD TO THE BOWL.

  9. ON A CUTTING BOARD, CHOP OFF THE ENDS OF ONE SMALL ONION AND PEEL IT. THROW THE ENDS AND THE PEEL AWAY.

  10. CHOP UP ONION INTO SMALL PIECES AND ADD TO THE LARGE BOWL.

  11. MIX WITH A SPOON.

  12. PREHEAT OVEN TO 400.

  13. TAKE BOWL OF DOUGH OUT OF THE FRIDGE.

  14. PLACE DOUGH BETWEEN TWO LARGE PIECES OF WAX PAPER, IN THE MIDDLE.

  15. ROLL DOUGH WITH A ROLLING PIN OVER THE WAX PAPER UNTIL THE DOUGH BECOMES A THIN CIRCLE, PRESSING HARD WITH THE ROLLING PIN.

  16. TAKE OFF THE TOP PIECE OF WAX PAPER.

  17. PLACE PIE PLATE UPSIDE-DOWN ON TOP OF THE ROLLED DOUGH.

  18. SLIDE YOUR HAND UNDER THE WAX PAPER AND DOUGH. PUT YOUR OTHER HAND ON TOP OF THE PIE PLATE. HOLDING THEM TOGETHER, TURN DOUGH AND PIE PLATE RIGHT SIDE UP.

  19. PRESS THE DOUGH SMOOTHLY INTO THE PIE PLATE UNTIL IT FORMS TO THE BOTTOM AND SIDES OF THE PIE PLATE, LIKE A PIE CRUST.

  20. REMOVE TOP PIECE OF WAX PAPER.

  21. TAKE KNIFE AND CUT AROUND TOP EDGES OF THE PIE PLATE, CUTTING OFF THE EXTRA DOUGH AND THROWING AWAY THE EXTRA.

  22. TAKE A FORK AND PIERCE HOLES IN DOUGH ON BOTTOM OF PIE PLATE.

  23. ADD LIQUID FROM OTHER BOWL INTO PIE PLATE, UNTIL FULL.

  24. PUT IN OVEN.

  25. SET TIMER FOR 20 MINUTES.

  26. WHEN TIMER GOES OFF, TAKE QUICHE OUT OF OVEN.

  27. TURN OFF OVEN. IT IS DONE.
